John Harris Memorial Lecture

Since 1983 the Police Foundation’s Annual Lecture has provided a space for major public figures to reflect on the challenges facing policing today. To acknowledge the unique contribution of Lord Harris of Greenwich, the founder of the Police Foundation, the Lecture was renamed following his death in April 2001 as the ‘John Harris Memorial Lecture’.

The Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, Cressida Dick gave the 2019 John Harris Memorial Lecture on 25 June. The event marked the 40th anniversary of the Police Foundation.

The John Harris Memorial Lecture is invite-only. If you would like to request an invitation to the Lecture please contact sue.roberts@police-foundation.org.uk

This year’s event was supported by Clue Computing.
