Local and Neighbourhood Policing

The Foundation has been doing research on the local resolution of police complaints and foot patrol. The Value of Foot Patrol has now been published (see below), and the final reports on police complaints are due to be published in the coming months. 

The Police Foundation also hosts, together with the Home Office, an Independent Academic Advisory Group on Neighbourhood Policing, which provides a forum for offering independent expert advice to the National Neighbourhood Policing team and discussing issues thrown up by the programme.
