John Graham, Director
John spent 25 years as a civil servant working firstly in research before moving into policy making. His previous posts include Associate Director of the Audit Commission and Deputy Director of Strategic Policy in the Home Office. He spent two years at the Social Exclusion Unit in the Cabinet Office and has been a Scientific Adviser to the Council of Europe since 1996. He serves on a number of Boards as a Non-Executive Director, including the Camelot Foundation and the Canadian Research Institute on Law and the Family, and is a visiting professor at the University of Bedfordshire.

Ken Madine, Director of Development
Ken is a voluntary sector specialist with over 20 years experience and has a background in education. He joined the Foundation from the national charity Victim Support, where he was Head of Fundraising for eight years. Prior to that he led the Corporate Partnerships Department at Age Concern England, after seven years working for overseas development agencies. Ken is responsible for the development of the Foundation's training and consultancy, partnerships with the corporate sector, marketing and communications and fundraising.

Sue Roberts, Office Manager
Sue has been Office Manager for the Foundation since 1997. She has previously worked as a Branch Manager’s Secretary and Supervisor for a large international bank and brings a wealth of experience to the Foundation, where she is responsible for the day to day running of the office.

Catherine Saunders, Communications and Marketing Officer
Catherine Saunders joined the organisation in June 2008. Her previous posts included working as an academic administrator for a complementary healthcare organisation, a medical secretary for South West London and St George’s Mental Health Trust and co-founding a mental health charity. She is also a qualified primary school teacher and works within education on a part-time basis.

Abie Longstaff, Legal and Policy Analyst
Abie Longstaff trained as a barrister and practised in crime and then libel. She joined the Police Foundation in July 2007 and her role covers policing and human rights policy, and research.
